Summer Solstice: Give Yourself a (Self) Love That Feels Like Summer

It’s the first official day of summer! I count today as a good time to remember all the reasons that stepping into the “light” and being in the flow of “love” is so good for us!

There’s all sorts of science about sunlight, specifically — it’s good (in moderation, of course) for our physical and mental health. In astrology the sun rules our soul, our personality and how we show up in the world.
Sometimes breaking out of old ways — coming out from the shadows and into that light can be scary - sharing the love we so freely give to others with ourselves, also scary!

you deserve a love that always feels like summer - quote

But embracing you natural personality (versus making yourself small to make others happy) can be so freaking joyful. Giving yourself little moments of self-love throughout the day can also be joyful, incredibly grounding, and set you on a path into a heightened sense of self-worth.

I hope you use these sunshine-filled days to soak all that magical light in and to share your light too! Wishing you a beautiful, spirit-filled start to summer!

Wanderfully yours,

Andi
