Black Moon Rituals and Tarotscope

Happy black moon! The most goth moon imaginable is arriving into the sky this evening.

Wondering what a black moon is? It’s the second new moon of the month — something that rarely happens! A lunar cycle is usually about 29 days, however every 2 1/2 years or so we get two full moons or two new moons in a month!

Black Moon Rituals, Tarot Reading — Oui We

I love a moon ritual, so in honor of tonight’s moon here are a few rituals for tonight:

  • Create a new moon mantra: use that mantra for the duration of the next lunar cycle. Here are a few I’m loving right now:

    - I am intuitive and visionary and see beautiful things coming in my life.

    - I am filled with creative expression and brilliance.

    - I live an abundant life: rich with love, friends, money and compassion.

  • Light a new moon candle and then burn it for a few minutes every evening over the next lunar cycle. The candle signifies inviting light into our lives on the darkest night of the month. Lighting that same candle each evening for the next 30 days will keep that light alive.

  • Write your manifestation list (and read it out loud), and then, yes you guessed it — re-read it before you go to bed every night over the next lunar cycle. The idea is to magnify your dreams and wishes — and to remind the universe every single night of what you’re calling in.

Now, we turn it over to Violet Guide for our Black Moon Tarot pull:

We made it through the eclipse season and we all can count some serious losses. This spread is about counting those losses, mourning them and letting them go.  It’s time to change your aim.

Tarot, New Moon, Eclipse Season, Mercury Retrograde — Oui We

The vision I had was of a bow and arrow and felt that is was time to re-string our bow, channel and aim for exactly what we want to manifest. These losses are hard but removed a huge block in our energy systems collectively for a new state of consciousness of our own personal strength.

The wood, strong side of the bow is three cards of the Three of Pentacles, the Eight of Swords and the Daughter of Wands.

Tarot, New Moon, Eclipse Season, Mercury Retrograde — Oui We

You are basically journeying upward on a new path facing thoughts and words that you have been holding hostage in your body. As you journey upward, you are showing that you are facing those thoughts while you practice aiming and firing at the negative ones. Tell them to leave your body, and replace it with the Daughter of Wands. She shows you will be collecting another piece of your creative and youthful spirit back to you every time you shoot and clear out your land, your body.

Tarot: Ace of Cups — Oui We

The string, or flexibility, is that you are letting yourself mourn the energy that you invested in those relationships and now you are giving yourself flexibility to dream of self completion in what you want your world to look like. It gives you permission to be flexible and try new communities — that is what brings healing and peace. So be flexible with yourself and explore what it would look like to grow new relationships again.

The star cards of the medicine woman are the Nine of Stones with the Apprentice of Arrows.

Tarot, New Moon, Eclipse Season, Mercury Retrograde — Oui We

See and appreciate how far you have come. Even if you don’t get recognition from others, it is important to pause and see now how far you have come. It is time to pass on your knowledge and help others that come in your realm. Speak and affirm the positive in your life. A new way of thinking is coming into your body as your energy shifts. How you practice speaking sows directly into your life. Words are power. Use them effectively. Practice being your higher self and believe in your transformation.

Peace and Generosity,

Violet Guide

She led healing teams, teaching individuals how to connect with their visions and heal deep-rooted traumas. She knew she needed to find a way for all of humanity to have access to healing without the ties of religion as an influence... so she left to find her truth path. Violet Guide found a path to true healing for mankind through reiki and tarot energy healing. She learned how to break toxic links of codependency and to trust her own body, mind and spirit again. Now she lives to help others do the same for themselves. Book a personal session here.
