Water Divination, Shamanic Wisdom, and Plant Medicine with Seun Mendes
Water Divination uses the element of water and mineral to open a window of communication between the diviner, ancestors, and the other world to weave together a concise story that speaks to the spirit of the person experiencing the divination.
Today’s guest is Seun Mendes, Water Diviner and healer authorized and initiated to speak on behalf of the ancestors. I had an opportunity to experience Seun’s medicine - an experience in which he offers prescriptions of rituals.
The act of receiving a divination itself is a radical act in a sense, and one must be open to the healing and transformation that often takes place from receiving a Water Divination with Seun. Each Water Divination is unique and ties the language of spirit to the person’s frequency.

After extensive training with renowned Shaman teachers around the world, Seun holds space and facilitates trainings, retreats, and transformation with authority and compassion. Seun’s work is dedicated to sharing indigenous medicines and rituals from around the world - particularly of African and indigenous countries highlighting his gift of Water Divination.
Seun is dedicated to bringing forth the messages from the water, a tool from which the Ancestors want to make themselves and their messages heard around the world. Seun’s focus is on helping people come into their medicine by teaching and holding ritual space for them to enter into their purpose. Through his workshops, writings, and retreats people are educated and immersed in indigenous wisdom and perspective.
