More Retrogrades + the Lunar Eclipse of July 2020 - The Possibilities Are Endless: What Will You Create?

We just had the solar eclipse in Cancer on the day of the summer solstice, marking the halfway point in the year. We're halfway through this dynamic year, and the next six months are likely to be even more eventful than the first six.

More Retrogrades + the Lunar Eclipse of July 2020 - The Possibilities Are Endless: What Will You Create?

We have six planets retrograde from June 23 to June 25, when Venus will finally go retrograde in Gemini.

This time of Venus retrograde has been about reassessing our values and our abundance mindset. When Venus goes direct again, finding the beauty in the present moment and the gifts coming to us through this year are more naturally evident.

Mars moves into its home sign Aries on June 28, where it will stay for six months instead of its normal six weeks, amplifying the cardinal energy even more.

Tensions and miscommunications could be running high, especially since we still have Mercury retrograde in Cancer. Practicing breathwork, pausing to respond rather than react to situations will be beneficial to us and those around us. There is a lot going on, and thus, a lot we might feel like requires a reaction. However, be mindful of how you are using your energy. It's important not to fall into other people's drama and to save your fight. The energy you expend trying to even explain yourself to others is the energy that would be better put to use by working on your projects or playing in nature.

We have six eclipses this year, too.

In 2020, there will be four eclipses of the Moon and two eclipses of the Sun. Eclipses can be draining on us already. It's normal to feel like this right now. We are going through a spiritual reset. Take naps as needed, and go slower. We are all in our respective creative corners and cocoons. Dance, paint, draw, practice yoga, run, meditate, sleep, and swim. Do whatever you can do to keep the energy high right now. High-frequency energy while acknowledging the shadow (can't have the light without the dark) is the path forward into expanding and unfolding positive timelines.

This is a time for all of us to focus on our spiritual practices. Yes, we have free will, but also, these eclipses are wild cards, rapidly accelerating our human evolution paths on both an individual and on a collective level. It's important to remember that resistance against the light is the greatest right when we are on the cusp of breaking through. This remains a time for all of us to envision a better future for not only ourselves, but our neighbors, our communities, our cities, states, country, and our planet, our solar system, etc.

Next up, we have the lunar eclipse in 13 degrees of Capricorn.

It can be helpful to look at where 13 degrees of Capricorn (and Cancer) is in your chart to see how you will be personally affected.

All of this is highly unusual and extremely powerful. As the magnetic shield of Earth continues to drop down even lower, the veil between what is real and what is imagined continues to be thinned, amplified by Neptune's annual retrograde, in its home sign of Pisces, which is all about dreams and busting through limiting beliefs and theories, allowing chaos to be what it is and finding the order that naturally results. This is a time for all of us to imagine and reimagine a better world and better systems, putting the power into the hands of the people.

Whatever we tend to focus on around these eclipse periods will be magnified. This isn't an excuse to run away from or ignore the problems plaguing us currently. It is an opportunity to alchemize the problems into potent creative solutions. It is an opportunity to create medicine that will heal and hold space for healing. It is an opportunity to shift into the timelines that have all beings living happy and free from oppression. We might be able to feel the acceleration even stronger since the retrogrades have been slowing things down, while eclipses speed them up. It's a time that invites us to either jump on for the ride or prepare to get left behind.

This penumbral lunar eclipse occurs on July 4th.

In the United States, this is independence day, the day we celebrate the birthing of the constitution, which occurred in Cancer season 1776 in Philadelphia, PA.

The trajectory of this full moon lunar eclipse is also across the bulk of America, including Central and South America. It touches parts of Europe and Africa as well. Full moons are periods of illumination of what has been kept hidden and secret. Prepare for secrets to be revealed. Full moons are also periods of releasing, and this one is occurring in Capricorn, where the theme and focus of this year have been, starting with the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in this sign on January 12.

The dark sides of power structures, authorities, police, etc. have been highlighted this year. Even the Independence Day that we celebrate is incomplete because it did not mean freedom and independence for all.

Patriarchal structures and current government systems continue to be dismantled, not just in America, but worldwide. This year has been showing us that these systems only benefit a select few, and thus, it is time for them to be restructured. A great deal of this is being done on its own with these series of eclipses, but of course, we each play our own individual part in the dismantling and restructuring as well.

The more each of us come back to our personal spiritual practices, the faster this positive growth and acceleration can occur on a collective level. Self-care is definitely not selfish, doing what you can for yourself helps all of us get to the harmonious and free planet we all envision when we are in alignment with the cosmos. So dance it out, shake it off, take care of yourself so you can keep going, and remember you are here for a very important reason.

This is also a very important time for many state and presidential primaries, so make sure to exercise your right to vote. It's one of those important things we can do in this reality while the system that we do have is still in place.

The last time we had a full moon lunar eclipse in this position of Capricorn was in 1963, and if we look at what was going on that year, there were similar themes.

This is the year that JFK was assassinated after proclaiming that he was against the Vietnam War, and it is also the year that Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his famous "I Have a Dream" speech. It's important to remember that the collective consciousness has evolved greatly in the past sixty years, so while some things might come out that catch us off guard, it can go a different way.

Eclipse series can bring just as much drama as they do enlightenment, and it benefits us all to consciously detach from that drama as much as possible. Take naps, cleansing showers, and baths as much as needed, while also not falling into procrastination or delay. Even though we have multiple retrogrades going on right now, being passive or taking no action at all is not the solution. Things are occurring rapidly if we zoom out and include the timeline of the eclipses in our perspective.

It's also a good time to reflect on the past 18 months and lessons learned because a cycle is ending so that a new chapter can be started in July. The cardinal energy continues. Firestarters. Project starters. The change isn't coming, or on its way, the change is here. Now.

How will this Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn affect you personally? Read for your sign below!

This works best if you go by your rising sign, and check your sun sign after. If your personal birth chart has any planets in Capricorn, those areas will be affected more during this lunar eclipse.

Aries

Your 10th house of career and public image is being affected by this lunar eclipse while Mars is in your sign lighting up your first house of self. This is a powerhouse month for you, Aries, with a lot of growth and opportunities.

If your home and environment aren't supporting your growth, it might be time to change things up. Invoke your courage and power. You're generally not one to listen to other people's opinions of you anyway, but especially now - it is a time to remember just how empowered and how powerful you really are. Don't be afraid to break some rules and to break out of who you are. If you've put yourself into any boxes, now is the time to unpack them. You are likely starting something new after the release of this full moon lunar eclipse - a new job, a new family, a new home, a new relationship, a new chapter. You are writing the story day by day, so speak truth to power. Your words have value.

Taurus

This lunar eclipse is reminding you that deep down you already know. You already have all of the answers, and yet you keep looking outside of yourself for them. This is a time to really go into yourself and trust your instincts. Nobody knows your own life as you do, and therefore, no one else can offer you the advice you need right now. You can find clues, but if you keep looking for signs outside of yourself it might just lead to discouragement and confusion.

Tap into your subconscious knowing through meditating or taking long walks in nature in solitude. Think of this upcoming month as a sort of creative hibernation period. You are coming into a whole new chapter. The moments of you second-guessing yourself are in the past. What you have been learning about is really just a remembering of what you already know. Keep connecting to the source to receive the downloads to assist with any decision you find yourself in the middle of making currently. And leave the past in the past.

Gemini

New career transitions are coming up for you with this lunar eclipse. If you've been working on getting out of debt and financial struggles, there is good news coming up for you in July in regards to money. You've been working hard and it is paying off. You might have neglected some of your friends because you've been focusing on your work, and this summer presents good opportunities to reconnect with the people that you love. Beware of overspending, but make sure there is a balance and treat yourself every once in a while. Keep up that abundance mindset, and remember that there is plenty to go around.

Keep your hopes and wishes for the future positive. Your desire to get involved and help in humanitarian causes is divinely guided, but beware of burnout and falling into the drama that can come along with trying to keep up with everything going on all of the time. Take some time out for yourself, read, do whatever it is that brings you back to your center point so you can more proactively take on the world at large.

Cancer

It is your season and this lunar eclipse is happening in Capricorn, the sign opposite from you. This eclipse series is highlighting your relationships, with yourself and with others. There could be a romantic partnership or business partnership either ending or coming together.

Venus goes direct in your 12th house and this Venus retrograde period for you has been all about restructuring your subconscious limiting beliefs - some that you might not have been aware of have come up to the surface for review. You might not even have known that there were some pesky, limiting beliefs hiding out in your subconscious.

The first step is awareness. It's time for you to connect with your soul tribe. If you haven't been allowing yourself to be happy and supported, remember a huge part of your life is who you surround yourself with. This is a good time for you to pay attention to your dreams. Keep a dream journal by your bed and jot down notes before you go to sleep and the first thing when you wake up. Take notice of the dreams that you remember in the morning, as they are reflections and messages as your subconscious mind works out what's coming up for you.

Leo

The lunar eclipse is lighting up your 6th house and you could feel like your routine is being shaken up, either for better or for worse. Try not to judge it too much because your life is being shaken up for a reason. Try to glean the lessons coming to you through this experience. You could also be feeling scattered with so many things going on.

Mars retrograde in Aries will hit your 9th house of international travel, and you are likely feeling restless and wanting to get out of your current environment. You could potentially be feeling very nostalgic for the past. It's a good time to think about where you were this time last year and how far you have come. Sometimes it can feel like we are stuck, yet when we zoom out and look at our lives from other angles we see that what can appear to be moving slowly is actually right on time. Getting out in nature can help you immensely this month to recalibrate and stay in rhythm with all that is going on.

Virgo

This lunar eclipse is lighting up your 5th house of creativity. Romance is heightened for you at this eclipse, and so is your connection to the spiritual realms. The veil is being thinned for all of us but you especially might feel a deeper connection with cosmos and with your dreams. Pay attention to where your mind wanders when you let and allow yourself to bring your dreams into tangible forms, and sooner than you think. Eclipse periods speed up time, and we already know they can bring rapid transformation and evolution to our consciousness. The love you give from your heart reverberates out like a ripple effect. So allow yourself to participate in activities that get you into a flow state and bring you joy. Play, play, play as much as you can and as often as you can. You might not think that taking time out for yourself to play with life benefits the planet and humanity, but it does.

Libra

Something is coming to an end for you - it might be a job, a relationship, or maybe it is an outdated way of thinking and believing that's holding you back from who you really want to be in the world. You're letting someone or something drain your energy, your vitality, and it's time to regenerate your life force and get your mojo back. Maybe it's family drama, and you need to strike a balance between being there for a family member, and taking care of your own self so you don't get burnt out. Your heart is in the right place, just make sure you're giving to yourself and allowing yourself to be supported in return for all of what you are giving out.

You might feel the tinge to get out of the mundane and escape and as long as you're looking at a short term solution that could be just what you need. But in the long term, even if you don't like confrontation, there are some things in your own heart and mind that are asking for your attention. Give these parts of you the attention they deserve! Attention is love, witnessing, listening. You don't have to have all the answers. Just take some time to listen to yourself this month.

Scorpio

Your third house of communication and messages is being lit up, Scorpio. Is there something you need to tell someone, a message you want to deliver but you have been holding off for fear of the other person or group receiving it badly, or not in the way you intended it? If a relationship or friendship connection means a lot to you, this is the next step to take to get there. The people that are meant to be in your life will work with you through misunderstandings and disagreements. So as much as you feel like shutting down, consider the source of any negative messages replaying in your headspace.

It may be time to let some of those pesky thoughts go, in favor of the joy and creativity and friendships that await on the other side. The new can always be scary at first, but some new chapters are just what you need. You will no doubt look back on this time in your life and be glad you made the choice to trust in the magic of fresh starts. You could find someone that ignites your passion and feel like starting up a romantic summertime affair. This could be a huge summer of romance for you! Give people a chance, and be the one to initiate more often.

Sagittarius

This lunar eclipse is hitting your second house of personal finances and material values. You may have been feeling like you've been grounded against your will this year, or perhaps you have been wandering in search of a place that feels like home. Either way, looking to external things is never the long-term solution, and deep down you know this.

Take some time out to really assess what it is that you want, what it is you are searching for. Allow yourself to believe that what's coming to you is meant for you, and what isn't for you can never miss you. And allow things to come to you this month. You've already done the preparing and making room for it to come in, you just need to get out of your own way, and get in touch with the part of yourself that thinks you might not be worthy of what you want. You so are. Abundance wants to come through to you, so allow yourself to receive it. You may also be feeling restless and feel like taking up a new routine where you can get your aggression out. It would be perfectly healthy to do so, so you can keep your channel clear and your energy high.

Capricorn

This lunar eclipse will hit in 13 degrees of your rising sign. Projects and planning take a back seat as you focus on your personal life. Mars in Aries makes a square, and you may be feeling pressured to get a lot more done than you are willing to take on at the moment. Capricorn's motto is slow and steady wins the race, and you like to have things planned out in advance. With all the retrogrades, you may feel like things aren't happening, but they are. So much is going on behind the scenes. Use this eclipse energy and allow yourself to tap into your universal wisdom and cosmic knowing because you are wise. Listen to that.

Home, family matters, and physical wellness are themes for you this eclipse. Take time to dedicate to your work life and your home life. And if you've been spreading yourself too thin, stop that right now! This is your permission slip to put yourself first right now.

Aquarius

The lunar eclipse will be hitting your 12th house of the subconscious. Though we can't completely prepare for surprises (otherwise they are not surprises!), expect to be surprised by something this month. Release any need to attach to whether this is a "good" surprise or a "bad" surprise. Rather, it's just simply something you need to know to make a choice that you have been neglecting putting off. Take it as the information that it is and keep going.

This is a great month to take time to create that piece of art that's been calling you - a book, a painting, whatever it is. Release attachment to the outcome of how this will be received by the world, too. This creation might be for your eyes only, but your soul is wanting it to be born. Confidence in your creations sparks confidence in all areas of your life, and it isn't about being the best, it's about completing what you set out to do. Your body has some messages to communicate to you as well, so take some time to be in stillness and meditate on what comes through. We practice active listening with ourselves first and foremost, and that practice allows us to be better listeners to others as well.

Pisces

Structures and routines are things that don't come so easily to you, Pisces. You are much more comfortable in the ethereal and dreamy realms where you can float around and live in spontaneous creativity. However, with the lockdown and quarantine, you've been implementing routines and structures to your life that you can actually feel good about, because it's helping you to practice a set of boundaries around your creative time and energy. Keep it up, but also this is a time for you to get back out there and play.

If you've been taking on too much of the world's stuff, go out into the natural world and remind yourself that you are connected to *this* world also. Just as much as you are connected to the energy of the protests and demonstrations and the people of this planet, you are connected to the trees, the flowers, and the earth that supports and sustains life for all of us, too. This lunar eclipse is occurring in your 11th house and reminding you even more so how important social awareness and connection are to you. Remember what you are working towards and fighting for. Take time out of your day to envision this world and its future as you want it to be.
