"Eschew the monumental. Shun the Epic...
...all the guys who can paint great big pictures can paint great small ones."
Wise words from my regular go to Mr. Hemingway.
As the first month of the new year is moving along I've been feeling his vibes and keeping an eye on all the small things. Things that used to seem major don't seem to matter so much anymore. I'm making decisions for different reasons, maybe it's Jupiter's presence in the cosmos or my underwhelmedness by the usual suspects.
Either way, in my current life and times I sometimes remember that as a fashion girl I should play a little dress up, no need for over epic-ness and if I can pull off an outfit that's kinda like pajamas disguised as real clothes, well, that's likely to make me smile.
And also do some sort of pseudo dance routine.
I highly advise it. Smiling in pajama gear, NFG, is maybe the most epic, right?
p.s. want your own version? here's a few I recommend, for those stopping by for the style DL.
p.s. High fives and lots of love to my little brother for snapping these photos. He's visiting NOLA for the first time, and is certainly a quick study. AKA he left creative liberties to me and never even mentioned that a hair brush might be in order. (Hey, it would thwart the whole PJ steez). He knows me so well.
