Let's Hear It

I woke up this morning with that song from Footloose in my head "my baby, he don't talk sweet, he ain't got much to say" if you don't know it, go find it, sing it in the shower and get Monday off to a sparkles and butterflies level start.

And promptly after waking up and whistling that song in the shower I showed up here in a look we'll call cheerleader chic.

I should know cheerleader chic. I spent lots of years of my life with pom poms, practicing back flips.

So here's a little 1 - 2 - 3 how to.

How to focus, concentrate and stick it in cheerleader chic style:

1. Crop top baseball T. if you're on the cheerleader chic plan, your abs will demand it. If not, I need a pilates partner so let's get to it.

2. A seriously good patterned mini. Mine's the painterly patterned mini from local shop Hattie Sparks, and it's possibly one of my favorite skirts ever.

3. Pom Poms. Obvi. Everytime. This one is from Gunner and Lux's "Little Lux" line. Mine is sold out, but there are so many other fun finds on their site.

So there we are. Get out there and go - fight - win your way through Monday.  And if you want to shop the look, I've got more below.
