Nodal Shift: New Focus & Release
The nodes shift signs....
💫 ♌️ / ♒️ Today the north & south node of the Moon are shifting into a new set of signs, marking a pivotal shift in everyones personal focus for the next year and a half. The nodes are super sensitive points, not real bodies- that travel backwards on an axis through the zodiac. The north node is considered a point of intake and the south node one of release. The north node represents an area of life where our souls are longing to ingest and learn more information, where we're striving towards something new to incorporate. The south node represents an area where we’ve become too dependent and cling to past experiences out of safety.
🌀 ♍️ / ♓️ Since November 2015, the nodes have been traveling through everyone’s Virgo/Pisces house, doling out some painful lessons on surrender and service. The north node (point of intake) has been in Virgo- we may have taken new steps in getting organized in our day to day tasks, or learned about service for the simple sake of others. The south node (point of release) was in Pisces- where we’ve been working on letting go of feelings of self-victimization and excessive self sacrifice, learning where to draw the line of helping another and helping oneself.
🔥 ♌️ / 💨 ♒️ The nodes take their very first step into the Leo/Aquarius axis today, into a whole new part of your chart, where they will remain until late 2018. The north node will now reside in Leo- ushering forth a desire for fun, creativity, romance, and a need to regain self-love after a rather self-critical time in Virgo. Playing and expression of ones true self will become crucial. The south node will enter into Aquarius, saying it’s time to release notions of emotional detachment, inflexibility, and the unnecessary lengths we go to for apparent non-conformity.
🌕 ♏️ The full moon in Scorpio arrives tomorrow, the evening of May 10th, casting a palpable moodiness in the air. It will be a crucial time to find a way to purge some of our uglier and lodged emotions- some of us will drink n' drug with our pals, some will sweat it all out at the gym, or some will brood alone writing dark poems by candlelight lol.
